St. Matthew's Youth Group


We welcome the youth of St. Matthew's Parish (8th -12th grade) to join us for a variety of activities during the year. Together, we hope to grow as a community of faith, continue to build our relationship with Jesus Christ, and develop many fun memories!

Light the Fire ~ Diocese of Scranton Youth Rally

Wednesday, June 28th (9am - 7pm)

Misericordia University, Dallas, PA

Going eleven years strong, this rally brings together nearly 500 teenagers from throughout the Diocese of Scranton. The day includes upbeat music, hilarious and inspiring talks from nationally-acclaimed speakers, Adoration, Confession, lunch, free-time, break-out sessions, and a closing Mass with the bishop of Scranton.

Steubenville Youth Conference

Friday, July 21st - Sunday, July 23rd 

St. John's University, Queens, NY

Our parish youth are invited to this three-day conference run by Franciscan University of Steubenville. The conference includes captivating speakers and amazing music, all aimed at helping us to grow in our faith and become evangelizing disciples of Jesus. Join thousands of other teens from throughout the U.S. for these days of prayer, worship, adoration, and fun!

St. Matthew's Parish Festival

August 11th, 12th, and 13th (Friday-Sunday)

This year, the Youth Group will be running the Ice Cream stand. We will also be sharing all the good we do and inviting new members to join us!
