Welcome!

We welcome the youth of St. Matthew's Parish (8th -12th grade) to join us for a variety of activities during the year. Together, we hope to grow as a community of faith, continue to build our relationship with Jesus Christ, and develop many fun memories!

  • 7 pm: Empanadas, Social Time, and Dynamic Talk in the Parish Hall 
  • Note: Church and St. Matthew's Center open to parents/families waiting for students to finish at 8 pm.

XLT, Vocation, & Eucharistic Adoration  

Sunday, October 20th, 2019

  • 6 pm: Mass
  • 7 pm: XLT Eucharistic Adoration 
  • 8 pm: High School Youth Leadership Committee (All are Welcome) 

The Holy Hour is open to the entire Parish. Praying to know our vocation and for the grace to live in it.     We ask all to pray for our youth discerning their vocation. Confessions will be available.

 National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) 

 

 

NCYC is a conference for young Catholics across the country in Indianapolis, Indiana. From November 20th-24th, students will engage in adoration, listen to keynote speakers, and much more!  

Notice: All forms and a $100 deposit are due to the parish office by Wednesday, September 11th. All envelopes should be labeled NCYC Attention: Jenn Huntsberger.

Light the Fire ~ Diocese of Scranton Youth Rally

Wednesday, June 26th, 2019 (9am - 7pm)

                                 Misericordia University, Dallas, PA

 

 

Going eleven years strong, this rally brings together nearly 500 teenagers from throughout the Diocese of Scranton. The day includes upbeat music, hilarious and inspiring talks from nationally-acclaimed speakers, Adoration, Confession, lunch, free-time, break-out sessions, and a closing Mass with the bishop of Scranton.

Quo Vadis Days  ~ High School Summer Camp

Sunday June 23rd (4pm) through Wednesday, June 26th (9am), 2019

Misericordia University, Dallas, PA

 

 

The 5th Annual Quo Vadis Days will be held at Misericordia University in Dallas, PA on Sunday, June 23rd through Wednesday, June 26th.

 

The camp is for young Catholic men in High School (9th-12th grade) to:
♦ Deepen their faith
♦ Lean more about all vocations
♦ Better discern God’s call in their lives

 

The camp will feature dynamic talks, prayer, games, sports, activities, music and more. Participants
will have the opportunity to meet Bishop Bambera, priests and seminarians of the Diocese of Scranton.
