Hispanic Heritage Celebration

"United we are stronger"

Our Lady of Peace Parish



The Diocese of Scranton hosted its sixth Annual Hispanic Heritage Mass & Celebration to observe National Hispanic Heritage Month on Saturday 19th. 2026, and honor the rich diversity, cultural traditions, and spiritual contributions of Hispanic Catholics across northeastern and north-central Pennsylvania.  It was held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Brodheadsville and drew more than 1,200 participants for Mass, a huge community celebration and Soccer Tournament.


Thank you to everyone who attend and all those who worked tirelessly to put on such a wonderful event!
