Religious Education

The goal of the Religious Education Program is to educate the youth of St. Matthew's Parish about the Catholic faith and prepare them to complete the Sacraments of Initiation to be full members of the Church and disciples of Christ.


CCD is a meaningful way to support spiritual growth and development within the Catholic faith. CCD programs offer a structured environment where children can learn about the core tenets of Catholicism, including the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Sacraments, the Holy Trinity, and the lives of saints. Beyond foundational knowledge, CCD provides a community where children can connect with their peers who share similar beliefs, fostering a sense of belonging and shared faith.

Welcome back to St. Matthew's Religious Education Program

I want to welcome our families of St. Matthews for another year of CCD Religious Education program! While you are the primary faith formators of your children, we look forward to walking with them and you on their faith journey. Registration information and materials for the 2026-2027 religious education year are now available.


Registration for ENGLISH FAITH FORMATION will be this Monday 24th, Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th from 5-6:30pm in the Parish Hall.
